It's the last few days of the Royal Cambrian Art Gallery Open Exhibition., it ends this Saturday on the 9th February.
There is some brilliant work to see in a wide selection of styles and mediums.
If you haven't been yet, it's well worth a visit. (Check their website for opening times).
I have a textile artwork in the exhibition. It was inspired from a sketch I made of a seed pod, which I then enlarged. Taking only a small section of the sketch as my subject, I layered materials including scrim and organza and split and stitched into it and embellished it with glass beads to represent the seeds to produce the finished work.

I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
